This Saturday night is the Miss Rendezvous Pageant.  It begins at 6:00 in the Auditorium.  Admission is $6.00.  Please make plans to attend!

1 - Please log into timemaps and take the practice test until you make a B or three times.

2 - Pick up Excel Rainbow/Shading packet.  Save the first document to your user number as "Rainbow" and the second as "MLB."

1 - Activity 9 - You only have to complete this through "Big Momma's House 2."  Save to your User number, print, and put in drawer. 
2 - Pick up your progress report.  Work on any zeros.

2.  Log into Timemaps.info and work through The World of Banking:  Lesson 6.2

1 - Log into Timemaps.  Take a practice test if needed.  Take the actual test.
2 - Pick up the "Format a Flag" handout  Read and follow the instructions.  This is to be saved to your user number.  Do not pick the United States.  Please note, you must find a picture of the country and paste it somewhere on your flag for your project to be complete.

Today we will work on the following:

1 - Review your Timemaps 6.1 note sheet.  Complete or get one if needed.
2 - Take practice tests over 6.1
3 - Excel Act. 10 - Please only type the data.  Do not try to sort or enter formulas on your own until after demonstration.
4 - Learn how to sort data, insert formulas and copy them.  Complete Act. 10.  Print and save to user number.
5 - Check for zeros.  Make sure Activities 4, 7, and 10 are complete.

1 - Learn how to format specific column width and use autofill.
2 - Activities 4 and 7 in Excel packet.  Save to user number, print with gridlines, staple and turn in for grade.

2 - Complete, save to your user number, and print exercises on Excel Day 1 and Day 2.  You should have a total of three printouts stapled together.

1 - Fill out job application.  We will finish the next class period if needed. Please use the following rules when completing your application:

• Write NEATLY! 
• Read all instructions CAREFULLY- Example: (Where is says your name it says- Last Name, First Name, Middle Name) Please put in that order!!!!!
• For Education- Put your school name, address. You do not have to put diploma type. For graduated yes or no, put - "Will Graduate ????(and the year you will graduate).
• For skills- make sure you list Microsoft Word. You know how to do that now and should list it.
• For honors and achievements- you can list stuff inside and outside of school (example- church).
• References:
• One reference (but NOT MORE THAN TWO REFERENCES) should be a teacher or administrator here at GHS. For the address, USE THE GHS ADDRESS & PHONE NUMBER. Can be found at www.jefcoed.com under the school tab. 
• The other reference(s) should be someone you know. Like a friend's parent you have known for a long time, someone you know from church (could be a sunday school teacher or leader). IT CANNOT BE A FAMILY MEMBER!!!. Make sure you write out their address and phone number. If you do not know it, you may go to www.whitepages.com and do a people search. 
• Under work experience, you can list volunteer experience! 

Mrs. Starnes Classes
1 - Report p. 89-90 -   Please begin typing this with a 2" top margin on the first page.  The second page has a 1 " margin.  I will show you how to insert the page number in about 30 minutes.
2 - Activity 35 in WordIt! Book.  Type this as seen on p. 84.  I will show you how to format the drop caps in about 60 minutes.
3 - Make sure both assignments are save to your user number.  Print and put in turn in drawer.

Mrs. Simmon's Thursday (1/10) Classes
1- Complete #2 (report) from Tuesday and print if you have not.
2- Complete the Time Maps Notes Sheet located in front of the inbox drawers.
3- Complete Word It 49 In the Word It Book and Print.
Turn all assignments in the drawer and make sure it is save to your user number.

Mrs. Simmon's Friday (1/11) Classes
Please follow all instructions on the blog post from Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Make sure your work is printed and turned in and saved to your student number.

1 - Finish Resume from Monday with heading formatting.  Put your name in place of Douglas Ruckert's.   Make sure it is saved to your user name, print, and put in drawer.

2-  P. 87 - Unbound Report  - Use 1.15 line spacing and correct heading styles.  Please put your name, date, and your class block in a footer.  Save to your user name, print, and put in the drawer.

3- Timemaps Theme 6 The World of Banking - Lesson 1

* I will give you a outline to take notes on while you go over this lesson for points.

1 - Type the resume you see on page 561 just as you see it.  Save to your user number.  If your assignment is not saved to your user number where I can access it, you will not recieve credit.

1 - Check Edmodo for assignment.
2 - Click on and print pages 1-3 of Questions.  Staple together and write your name on your packet.
3 - Use the Job Application Information link to read online and find the answers.
